ABOUT

Euregio Plus SGR, an asset management company focused on financial management and promoting investment funds that will serve the region, is launching a Hackathon on sustainability issues for participants from the universities of Bolzano and Trento.

THE GOAL

The aim of Hackathon 2022 is to give university students the opportunity to learn more about ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) issues and apply them to the financial sector. In particular, participants will be asked to develop an optimum portfolio allocation model for the stock market that uses ESG metrics so as to determine the specific risk and its constraints.

THE TARGET

The target participants are students in the economics and finance fields who are in their second year of a master’s degree programme or who have graduated no more than three years before the date of registration. Students meeting the requirements set out in the regulations may participate in teams composed of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 persons, for a total of 15 workgroups. 

THE OPPORTUNITY

Cash prizes will be awarded to the first three teams in the classification, with the further possibility of a placement with our company.
